How monthly support works
We agree priorities together at the start of each month, then focus on the activity that best supports your goals. Deliverables are subject to the agreed scope and available monthly allocation; any additional work is discussed and approved before it begins.

Ad hoc marketing support
Need experienced marketing expertise or an extra pair of hands? Get flexible, ad hoc support with the skills you need, when you need them, without committing to a monthly package.

- A specific marketing task, campaign or deadline.
- Copywriting, email marketing or social media content.
- Marketing materials, case studies and business communications.
- Website content updates or improvements.
- A second opinion, practical advice or help getting a project over the line.
Work is agreed in advance and charged at £55 per hour. A two-hour minimum may apply depending on the task. Larger projects or work requiring specialist production will be scoped and quoted separately.

Retained support is suited to businesses that need a regular marketing resource but want flexibility over the tasks delivered. Monthly priorities are agreed in advance. Any rules on unused time, carry-over and out-of-scope work are set out in the service agreement.

Website support
Your website should support your wider marketing, not sit in isolation. Website content updates, page improvements, campaign landing-page content and SEO-aware copy can be included where relevant within an agreed monthly package or ad hoc project.
For straightforward, template-based landing pages or simple e-commerce or starter websites, availability and scope can be discussed as part of a wider marketing project. For bespoke website design, complex development or specialist functionality, Velvet Riot collaborates with dedicated website professionals and can refer clients to the right specialist.
This gives clients joined-up marketing support while specialist website design and development stays with the people best placed to deliver it.
What to know before booking
- Monthly packages are paid in advance, with priorities and deliverables agreed together.
- Advertising spend, paid directly to the platform, is not included in the monthly fee.
- Third-party costs, premium software, photography, printing and specialist development are excluded unless agreed in writing.
- Any work outside the agreed scope will be discussed and approved before it begins.
